SZ: What’s your favorite place to draw in NYC?
AE: My apartment (I’m a big homebody)
SZ: In high school you wore Spanx under your pants. I wore control-top L’EGGS pantyhose every day and even slept in them because I thought I’d DIE if I felt my thighs touching. Do current teens have it easier-thanks to social media/general “wokeness” of The Youth Today? Or are we all cursed 4ever?
AE: I am so thankful that social media hand’t quite become a ‘thing’ yet when I was a teen. It must be so much pressure, but I’m optimistic about it! I’m seeing a really powerful trend of a wider range of voices and I like to think it will foster a more accepting and empathetic environment.
SZ: Waffles or Pancakes?
SZ: Vodka or gin?
AE: I don’t drink much because it hurts my stomach, but gin over vodka.
SZ: Is Lady Gaga’s acting career: a) annoying b) inspiring or c) both ?
AE: Love Lady Gaga
SZ: Is there any feeling better than post-poop bliss? (If so, please share)
AE: There is not. Truly the best feeling.
SZ: Where can we find/buy your work?
